In Commerce & Lending, we build relationships with our clients. By getting to know them well and immersing ourselves in their world, and by wanting to understand exactly which challenges they face, BNG can support them in the best way. Commerce & Lending consists of three departments: Relationship Banking, Lending, and Client Services & Payments.
The Relationship Banking department builds valuable relationships with our clients and signs contracts that contribute to a better society. The sector teams Government & Education, Housing, Healthcare, and Public Infrastructure & Energy offer specialist financial advice. This allows us to serve our clients in the best possible way.
This department also includes an account desk and the teams Public Banking and Client Integrity. At the account desk, pricing specialists know exactly what’s going on with our clients. Relationship managers from Public Banking coordinate essential processes. At Client Integrity, our customer due diligence analysts protect the bank against integrity risks such as money laundering and fraud.
Lending focuses on credit and product processes at BNG. These employees help with risk management and improving client and credit processes. There is also a strong focus on digitalisation and standardisation. The teams Innovation & Expertise, Data Analytics & Reporting, Business Control, and Support Specialists focus on market changes in laws and regulations. They also advise management on the bank’s strategy.
The Client Services & Payments department focuses on improving the client process. This includes client onboarding and the development of self-service technologies. The aim of this team is to optimise the user-friendliness of our tools.
