The Award

The BNG Dance Award is presented annually by the BNG Culture Fund to support Dutch talent in realising their productions and to give talented choreographers with national and even international potential an important step forward in their career. The fund does this in partnership with Korzo, the house of movement in The Hague and producer of DansClick.

Korzo presents innovative dance, music, and physical theatre in the heart of The Hague. The venue works with creators who explore and push boundaries. With CaDance and India Dance Festival, Korzo offers an adventurous and up-to-date programme.

Winners BNG Dance Award 2026

Choreography duo Lunatics & Poets have won the BNG Dance Award 2026. Anna Jacobs and Hanna van der Meer were presented with the award at the Korzo theatre and artists’ centre. Their performance Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun made a deep impression on the jury. Thanks to the award, the duo will be able to continue working on the piece at Korzo next season and tour the work to nine Dutch theatres as part of DansClick #28.
