Climate Progress Reports

BNG is working with its customers towards the ambition of becoming climate neutral by 2050. In our Climate Plan – Going Green, we describe how we measure, report and gradually reduce the CO₂e emissions of our own organisation and our loan portfolio, in line with the Paris Climate Agreement.

Sustainability is an integral part of our strategy. We support our clients in social transitions, such as:

• the energy transition,
• making social real estate more sustainable,
• and future-proofing.

We do this by, among other things:

• providing insight into CO₂e emissions and progress,
• using sectoral emission reduction pathways as a guiding framework,
• and working with customers on the basis of data and transparent reporting.

Our climate progress reports provide annual insight into the results achieved, developments within our loan portfolio and sectoral trends. They show where we are making progress, where acceleration is possible and how we are working with public partners to reduce climate impact towards 2030 and 2050.
