BNG's core values are connectivity, expertise, entrepreneurship and optimism. Would you like to contribute to a learning organisation and make a societal impact? Then this is your next step. As a Learning & Development Advisor, you will have the opportunity to set up and implement the BNG Academy. You will not only encourage a growth mindset, but also a culture in which continuous learning, personal development, change management and collaboration are a matter of course.
What will you be doing?
As a Learning & Development Advisor at BNG, you will be responsible for the strategic, tactical and operational aspects of learning and development.
You will play a leading role in setting up and implementing the BNG Academy in line with the Route to Added Value. BNG Academy encourages the development of knowledge, skills and behaviour and plays an important role in the further development of (personal) leadership. With your expertise in digital, personalised and hybrid learning, you will convert learning and behavioural development issues within the organisation into effective and sustainable learning solutions, in close collaboration with the business and within a multidisciplinary team where innovation, impact and open communication are essential. In addition:
• You work in close collaboration with stakeholders at various levels and act as a sparring partner for management and HR Business Partners.
• You are able to operate independently within complex stakeholder fields, including coordination with the Executive Committee.
• You switch effortlessly between strategic thinking and project-based implementation, using your substantive expertise in the field of learning, development and leadership programmes to realise impactful learning interventions.
• You are responsible for the training calendar and the implementation of L&D projects.
• You are the first point of contact for the Archipel learning platform and consult with internal and external stakeholders at operational, tactical and strategic levels.
• You will be responsible for promoting a culture of continuous learning, change management and personal development. In doing so, you will ensure optimal utilisation of the Unlimited offering within Archipel.
• You will prepare reports and dashboards to provide insight into progress, impact and learning needs, and use these insights to improve and renew programmes. In the coming years, you will strategically shape the further development of the BNG Academy, an assignment with impact that requires vision and L&D expertise.
Your workplace
Team HR is an energetic team consisting of various disciplines, including HR Contract and Payroll Administration, Recruitment and Selection, Learning & Development, and HR Business Partners. The team consists of 12 colleagues. You will report directly to the Head of HR.
What we ask of you
We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Advisor who is used to working in a rapidly changing environment and bringing a high degree of execution power to the table. In addition, you have a keen eye for strategy and implementation and know how to get people moving. You bring:

• Stakeholder management: Effective collaboration with senior managers, external partners and other stakeholders at various levels within the organisation.
• Project management: Planning, coordinating and executing L&D projects with clear goals, deadlines and a dedication to results.
• L&D content expertise: In-depth knowledge of learning and development methodologies, including designing learning pathways and contributing ideas to leadership programmes.
• Digital and AI skills: Experience with learning platforms (such as Archipel) and know how to use them strategically, tactically and operationally. In addition, you have up-to-date knowledge of the use of AI within Learning & Development.
• Analytical skills: Able to analyse learning needs, monitor the results of learning interventions and implement improvements based on this.
• Policy-making skills: Able to independently prepare policy and decision documents for the Executive Committee and know how to present complex issues clearly and convincingly.
• Independence: Proactive, takes ownership and knows how to move from vision to implementation - even in a dynamic and changing environment.
