Are you ready to take ownership of our ServiceNow platform? We are looking for the Product Owner who combines strategic vision with Agile execution.

What will you be doing?

As the ServiceNow Product Owner, you are the owner and architect of the value proposition of our ServiceNow platform. You are ultimately responsible for the continuous development and optimization of our IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. Your focus is on transforming strategic goals into concrete, value-driven functionalities within ServiceNow. You are the indispensable bridge between the business, the development team, and our users. You ensure that every sprint and every feature delivers direct value and that the platform remains future-proof.

  • Product Vision & Backlog Ownership: You are ultimately responsible for managing and prioritizing the ServiceNow product backlog, driving for maximum ROI.
  • Translating Value: You translate strategic and operational objectives into sharp user stories and clear requirements.
  • Quality & Impact Guard: You monitor the progress, quality, and the ultimate value of all delivered functionalities.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: You are the expert in Stakeholder Management; you actively gather requirements, provide vision, and ensure alignment at all levels.
  • Continuous Improvement: You initiate and guide continuous improvement and automation within crucial ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, IRM, BCM, Asset & Config).
  • Agile Leadership: You facilitate crucial Agile ceremonies such as sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and PI planning, and you promote the team’s Agile maturity.
  • Risk & Bottlenecks: You proactively identify risks and bottlenecks in the process and manage them to guarantee speed and quality.
  • Performance & Reporting: You report clearly on KPIs and progress to management and the broader stakeholder group.

Your workplace

You will become part of the IT Processes team, the foundation of our IT operation. Our mission is crucial: to ensure that processes are not only understood and applied but that we also comply with the demonstrable operation required by our regulators. We believe in continuous improvement to make processes work for us, rather than the other way around. With your focus on Asset Management and the CMDB, you lay the essential foundation for all other IT processes. You will join a driven team where service, professionalism, knowledge, and expertise go hand-in-hand with a healthy dose of humor. We constantly challenge each other to elevate ourselves and the team to a higher level.

What we ask of you

You are the Product Owner with a passion for ITSM and ServiceNow, who speaks the language of both the business and technology.

  • In-depth expertise in ITSM/ServiceNow: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Product Owner, Consultant, or Senior Analyst with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Agile/Scrum Leadership: You have in-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum and experience guiding and mentoring DevOps teams.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management: You have the communication skills to gather requirements, prioritize, and build consensus.
  • Knowledge of the Fundamentals: Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem) and IT Governance.
  • Analytical and Results-Oriented: You are able to translate complex issues into concrete Epics, Features, and User Stories (experience with Azure DevOps/Jira is a plus).

In addition, you have the mindset to realize the Product Vision:

  • Visionary: You can set a long-term vision for the ServiceNow product and communicate it convincingly.
  • Focus on Value: You are continuously focused on measuring and maximizing the business value of every feature.
  • Transformer: You are proactively involved in guiding teams toward a higher Agile maturity level.
  • Quality Guardian: You have a sharp eye for detail and safeguard the quality of the delivered work.
  • Collaborator: You coordinate seamlessly with domains such as Security, Risk, and Compliance.
