Ana Buzón will become secretary of the BNG Culture Fund on 1st March 2025. In this role, Buzón will act as the link between the bank's Executive Committee (ExCo) and the board, and advisory committee of the BNG Culture Fund.

As secretary of the BNG Culture Fund, Buzón is responsible for processing grant applications for projects in the field of art and culture. She also organises the fund's awards in the fields of theatre, literature, circus, music, and dance.
Ana Buzón (1979) has always had a strong affinity with culture. Born in Argentina, she completed her master's degree in journalism in Buenos Aires and studied philosophy in Madrid. Buzón worked for various banks for over twenty years. She takes over from Mat Meijs, the current secretary. Meijs has held this position for almost twenty years and will retire in March. BNG is very grateful to Meijs for his commitment to the bank and the Culture Fund.
