CRO Cindy van Atteveldt bids farewell to BNG

Cindy van Atteveldt, whose term as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at BNG expires in February 2025, will not be standing for re-election. Until a successor is found, Van Atteveldt will remain involved with BNG in her current position and as a member of the Executive Committee. BNG's Supervisory Board has initiated the recruitment process for her successor.

Van Atteveldt: ‘I have thoroughly enjoyed working at BNG since the beginning of 2021. It was not an easy decision to make. BNG is a bank with a wonderful public mission and adds significant value to our society. We also have wonderful, enthusiastic colleagues. After fifteen years in a management position, I will be taking time off next year to gather new ideas for the future.’

Huub Arendse, chair of the supervisory board: ‘With her expertise, Cindy has made risk management a more integral part of BNG’s strategy and processes. In doing so, she has made an important contribution to crucial activities of the bank, such as the credit process and the gatekeeper function, which has further increased BNG’s reliability. We regret Cindy's decision to leave the bank, but we respect her choice. On behalf of the Supervisory Board, I would like to thank Cindy for her professionalism and drive, which have undeniably contributed to BNG's social impact.’
