BNG Bank announced today that Pauline Bieringa, Managing Director Public Finance, has decided to leave the bank after more than 16 years. The selection process for her successor has already begun.
Pauline Bieringa: “My decision was not an easy one, because BNG Bank is a wonderful organisation that demonstrates how social engagement and profitability can go hand in hand, and where I have enjoyed working immensely. Nevertheless, I want to take another step forward. Over the past decades, I have gained a great deal of experience in the banking sector. In addition, I now have many years of administrative experience as a supervisor and supervisory director, and as a coach for aspiring supervisory directors. In addition to my current supervisory directorships, I am now focusing on opportunities to combine these experiences.”
Gita Salden, Chair of the Executive Board: “Over the past few years, Pauline has devoted herself heart and soul to the bank’s mission. Under her leadership, BNG Bank’s loan portfolio has grown considerably, particularly in sustainability projects and the healthcare sector. She has often represented BNG Bank as its public face, even in sometimes difficult situations. I would like to thank her for her many years of dedication to our organisation and wish her every success in her new challenges.”
