Key Information Document (KID) – PRIIPs

BNG provides its clients with a Key Information Document (KID). This document is part of the European legislation Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products (PRIIPs). The Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) supervises compliance with this regulation. Currently, the Key Information Document (KID) is only available in Dutch.

The KID offers you clear, comparable, and transparent information about investment products that fall under the PRIIPs Regulation. The document is legally required when these products are offered to non-professional investors. It helps you to:

• understand the nature, risks, costs, and potential outcomes of a product;
• compare products more easily;
• make well informed decisions.

Please note: the KID is not marketing material, but a legally prescribed information document.

What does the KID include?

The document contains, among other things:

• A clear description of the product and how it works
• Information on returns and performance scenarios
• An overview of risks and costs
• The conditions under which the contract can be terminated
• Information on the consequences if the provider cannot meet its obligations
• The complaints procedure

Always the most up-to-date information

The information in the KID may change. BNG therefore regularly reviews whether the content is still current. When information becomes outdated, the KID is updated.

We recommend always consulting the most recent version of the relevant KID before entering a transaction with us.
