What we do

In Finance, we safeguard the financial health and stability of our organisation. For example, by preparing accurate financial reports, identifying risks, and implementing strategic financial frameworks. Finance also plays an important role in meeting regulatory requirements and ensuring transparency for all stakeholders.

The departments of Finance

Finance consists of two departments: Finance & Control and Financial Restructuring & Recovery. Employees from both departments work closely together.

Finance & Control

In the Finance & Control department, we ensure we have the right information and working methods to manage BNG effectively. The department is divided into two specialist teams:

1. Reporting: employees are responsible for financial reports for management and regulators, as well as external reporting.
2. Corporate Control: employees in this team develop and improve systems and processes for managing BNG. They also monitor the cost-income ratio, coordinate the annual report, and ensure we comply with the European sustainability rules of the CSRD model (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive).

Financial Restructuring & Recovery

In the Financial Restructuring & Recovery department, we make sure BNG faces less risk with clients who may have repayment issues Employees in this department take over the management of these clients and take measures to improve the situation or recover as much money as possible.
