In Treasury, we make sure our capital is used efficiently, so society benefits from it. We manage and optimise BNG’s cash flows and liquidity.
Treasury consists of three departments: Portfolio Management, Business Management, and Funding & Treasury:
The Portfolio Management team manages the bank’s liquidity and investment portfolios. This department is responsible for strategic and operational balance sheet management.
The Business Management department focuses on managing operational risk and BNG’s customer due diligence process. The team also promotes data-driven working, improving data quality, and digitalisation in the dealing room.
The Funding & Treasury department focuses on BNG’s returns. The team manages short-term liquidity positions and interest rate risks and arranges long-term funding on the capital markets.
