In the second half of January 2025, BNG will start sending Standard Bank Statements. The Standard Bank Statement contains an overview of the banking products that customers have with BNG. Accountants may request this for the purpose of compiling the annual accounts. In addition, the annual Balance Statements will be sent out.
An application for a Standard Bank Statement can easily be made by an authorised administrator in the Mijn BNG online portal.
The statement will be sent by post directly to the accountant within five business days of the reference date. If the reference date is 31st December, it will take longer to send the statement due to the closing of the financial year. Customers will receive a copy of the statement.
The annual balance statement will be sent out from 22nd January 2025 onwards. Customers do not need to request this; they will receive it automatically.
