Payments via iDEAL

Payment requests are part of iDEAL. With a payment request, you can have your debtors pay quickly and easily, for example via the checkout on the website. We explain what a payment request is and what the connection procedure for iDEAL and digital direct debit authorisations looks like.

iDEAL Payment Request

A payment request is a message sent by e-mail or SMS to a debtor containing a link to iDEAL. The link takes the debtor to a payment page. The debtor selects their own bank and confirms the payment in the banking app. As with a normal payment via iDEAL, the recipient receives immediate feedback. You can manage your payment requests via My BNG. Here you can:

  • Create payment requests manually
  • View and approve payment requests
  • View status overview
  • Send payment requests by text message or email
  • Add attachments to emails

Advantages

  • Quick connection
  • Easy payment for your debtors
  • Reconciliation guaranteed
