Read how you can connect to iDEAL and set up (digital) direct debit authorisations via Worldline.
Step 1: Registration
- Go to the Worldline portal.
- Enter a recognisable username and your email address.
- You will receive an email with a link to choose your password in the product environment. Use this to log in.
- Select the product you wish to purchase, such as iDEAL, Direct Debit Mandates CORE or Direct Debit Mandates B2B.
- Enter your details and select the appropriate connection method.
- Do you use a registered “Payment Service Provider (PSP)” for iDEAL or a “Mandate Service Provider (MSP)” for Direct Debit Authorisations? If so, select this from the drop-down menu. An overview of registered “PSPs and MSPs” can be found on the Currence website.
- If your service provider is not listed in the drop-down menu, please contact us. If you are creating the technical link yourself, select “Fully integrated into own website”.
- Complete the iDEAL or Direct Debit Mandate agreement and send it to BNG with a valid signature.
Step 2: Approval by BNG
We check the agreement. In the case of collection agents, we check whether a collection contract is already in place. If everything is in order, we approve the application.
Step 3A: Integration with your own connection
If you choose the “Fully integrated into your own website” connection method, it is important that you complete a test process. You will receive an account for this integration (test) environment.
- After choosing the “Fully integrated into your own website” connection method and receiving approval from BNG, you will receive an e-mail with a link to the integration environment.
- Choose a password for the integration environment.
- Log in to the Worldline integration portal
- Download the XML signing certificate for iDEAL or Direct Debit Mandates from BNG via the “Documents” menu option. Install it in your implementation.
- Upload your own XML signing certificate to the integration environment.
- Test your implementation. Can you work with the iDx responses you receive? Send the XML messages to the gateway of the integration environment.
- Check all the items on the checklist.
- Go to the Worldline integration portal and upload your own XML signing certificate. The “Check your implementation” button in the production environment will give you the checklist again in interactive form. By ticking the boxes one by one, you indicate that you have carried out your integration tests. The implementation is then technically sound.
Step 3B: Integration via a registered Mandate Service Provider
If you use a registered PSP or MSP, you can skip step 3A. An overview of registered providers can be found on the Currence website. Is your service provider not listed in the drop-down menu? Please contact us. Before going live, provide your service provider with important information, such as the merchant ID.
Step 4: Going live
When you are ready for production, you can activate your account in the production portal. You can now make your first live transaction in the production environment. You send the XML messages to the gateway of the production environment.
