BNG is in the midst of a digital transformation towards a multi-SaaS IT landscape. The Integration Services Competence Centre (ISCC) is the enabler for this transformation. Are you passionate about integrations and cloud technology?

What will you be doing?

An integration specialist supports delivery teams in developing integrations under the motto “show, do it together, do it yourself”.

Technical Support & Education

  • Answering technical questions and resolving issues with integrations
  • Training end users and technical staff in the operation of integrations
  • Supporting architecture and delivery teams in designing, building, and testing integrations

Monitoring and Maintenance

  • Monitoring integration processes and performance
  • Making the production process more flexible and efficient
  • Setting up automated monitoring for the technical platform and components

Standardisation & Optimisation

  • Developing, documenting and implementing standards such as integration patterns, naming conventions and designs for integrations
  • Creating starter templates and integration patterns for data transformation (e.g. JSON to XML/CSV)

Governance and Management

  • Identifying and correcting deviations in integration projects
  • Assessing and approving integration designs based on reference architecture
  • Contributing to the integration catalogue by automating an updated library of APIs, adapters and stubs

Your workplace

The Integration Services Competence Centre (ISCC) department is at the heart of the IT environment. The ISCC is responsible for supporting teams in the development of integrations. The team also contributes ideas on the technical implementation of the BNG strategy, with a focus on integration architecture. The team forms the bridge between architecture and delivery teams.

The team naturally applies modern Agile working methods, such as Kanban, Agile Design Thinking and Azure DevOps.

What we ask of you

  • Experience with Azure Integration Services and cloud integrations (Service Bus, Functions, Data Factory, API Management, API Centre, Event Hub, Event Grid and Logic Apps)
  • Knowledge of integration architecture, patterns and data transformations (e.g. Pub/sub, Async request-reply and Retry Pattern)
  • Strong communication skills to train and guide teams
  • Experience with developing generic components, such as templates and snippets.
  • Problem-solving skills and a structured approach
